Athletic Background
I come from a predominantly ball sports background consisting of football, baseball, golf, etc. I got into triathlon in 2000 when I was starting graduate school. I saw a flyer for the Pineapple Man Triathlon in Melbourne Beach, FL and decided to sign up. I had a lot of fun despite the DNF for receiving outside assistance (flat tire, no means to change it); I was hooked from that day forward. I did a bunch of races eventually working my way up to the Florida Challenge Half-Iron in October of 2001. Unfortunately, I blew my left ankle up the day before playing intramural soccer and had to withdraw. Once my ankle began to heal, I did some races but I never totally got back into the sport because of the ankle and also graduating, moving, getting married, buying a house, etc. Now that life has settled down, I am back in the game 100% which is why I became an OSB client. I also still play softball and golf.Personal

Marty’s “laid back but get your work done” personality, his local presence, and the fact that has the results to back up his advice.
