Athlete history
I played a variety of team sports through high school including baseball, basketball and football. I enjoyed these sports but never developed a passion for any of them. About two years ago, a friend was talking about triathlons that he had done. It sounded intriguing and so I started the training process and was hooked. Since then, I have really tried to learn the fundamentals of the sport and dedicate myself to getting better.

Goals
Last year was my first year and so my main goal was to finish a few sprint and Olympic distance races and get a feel for the sport. I had no real directed training and my 50th percentile AG finishes showed that. My target distance will continue to be Olympic but this year I want to move into the top 20% in my AG. With Marty’s direction, I think this is very possible.

Why I chose OSB
