OSB Powerstroke® Freestyle Technique & Triathlon Swim Clinics

Powerstroke® is our method for teaching effective competitive swimming to adult triathletes and open water racers. It is both a teaching method and a way of swimming. It is a concept developed to help athletes understand the integral relationship between good technique and the application of force when swimming. It is a drill that can be incorporated into daily practices as well as a stroke form that will help you torpedo your way to a PR finish.

Each Powertroke® clinic is approved for six CEUs for USA Triathlon coaches.

Saturday itinerary includes - (with a start time 11AM):
11-12: Meet and greet, Lecture: What is Powerstroke®
12-130: Powerstroke® Swim Practice, drills, and demonstrations
130-230: Individual swimmer filming
230-430: Swimmer film review and lectures: Swim Training for Triathlon and Periodization of Training
and Lunch (included)
430-500: Running drills and brief individual form analysis
515: Saturday session end

Each clinic includes:
- The Powerstroke: Speed through force and form DVD
- a booklet of presentations & selected articles
- an individual swim analysis (recorded)
- a DVD of all attendees' swim analysis
- a Powerstroke® swim cap
- Lunch on Saturday

Our private clinic policy:

We are available to host and organize a one-day or weekend clinic (including filming as above) in your town within the continental US (48 states) with a minimum of 8 attendees + complimentary lodging. Clinic costs such as pool rental and lunch come out of the enrollment fees (one day fee = $139.99.). If the facility rental fees are extraordinarily high, we will need to negotiate.

If you would like to handle & pay for all the logistics regarding the clinic (max 20 enrollment), then we offer a flat fee structure:

* 1 day up to 10 athletes - flat fee of $600 + travel & lodging for Coach Marty
* 1 day over 10 athletes - flat fee $800 + travel & lodging for both Coach Marty and Coach Bri
* For two day and international clinics, please contact us via email.
